Can I Plasti Dip in the cold?

It is not recommended to Plasti Dip in the cold. The thinner inside the Dip takes much longer to evaporate therefore, you will have to wait much longer for each coat to dry. Sometime, up to 2 hours. Here are a few tips and trick we learned at PRODIP.

If you are using Aerosol Cans, make sure you warm them up in a container with HOT water for about 20 minutes before first use, keep the can inside the hot water between coats to make sure the propellant stays hot and the DIP comes out nice and smooth.

2. If you are using the electric sprayer system, make sure you are in a well heated and ventilated garage with a temperature of at least 21C.
